Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of academic services to increase student motivation to learn the Faculty of Dakwah IAIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya and determine the extent of academic services to increase students' learning motivation Faculty of Dakwah IAIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya with quantitative approach . The hypothesis of this study is the influence of academic services to increase student motivation to learn Faculty of Dakwah IAIN Sunan Ampel. The entire study population of students of the Faculty of Dakwahh IAIN Sunan Ampel, samples were taken for determination of populasi. Decision made by proportionally with Proportionate random sampling method ( random sample proportionally ) and grouping students each department or study program from the class of 2010 to 2012 . Techniques of statistical tests in this study using a simple linear regression. Statistical analysis of the results in the table above with SPSS 14.0 for windows, acquired a significance level of 0.000, where P < 0.05, which means the null hypothesis is rejected and alternative hypothesis is accepted. The results show that there are influences between academic service learning with motivssi . With a coefficient of determination ( R Square ) of 0.120 or 12.0 % variable affecting academic service learning motivation and 88.0 % influenced by other variables .
