Abstract
The phenomenon of motivational institutions in Indonesia is growing rapidly. Modern society, faced with life pressures, job competition, and psychological conditions such as stress, anxiety, and depression, increasingly requires a space for self-empowerment. Given these psychological issues, Muslim motivational institutions are considered to contribute to mental development through the internalization of Islamic educational values. Based on this context, this study aims to explore the values of Islamic education and how these values are embodied in Muslim motivational training activities at the Thanks Institute Indonesia and Muslim Motivators. This study uses a field research method with a phenomenological approach. The analytical tool in this study uses Alfred Schutz's theory of motive in order to motive and because motive, as well as Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory of personality structure. The data sources for this study were the people directly involved in the motivational training implementation, namely the training participants, the Director of the Thanks Institute Indonesia motivational institute, and a Muslim motivator. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Miles and Huberman model, namely data condensation, data display, and conclusions (verification). The results of this study revealed similarities, but not identical, in the Islamic educational values founded in both motivational institutions. Furthermore, Abid Halimi, as the director of the Thanks Institute Indonesia, taught Islamic educational values because these values are fundamental to all religions, especially Islam. The goal is to enable participants to solve life's problems and become a guideline for solutions to the problems of others. Meanwhile, the motive for teaching Islamic educational values at the Muslim Motivator motivational training institution is because Director Zein Abidin himself is a Muslim and he emulated the behavior of the Prophet Muhammad who always motivated his followers, especially during the Battle of the Trench. This study argues that the Islamic educational values and strategies implemented in both motivational training institutions do have an impact on healing emotional and mental disorders in participants.
