The use of digital media in increasing students' interest in learning english as a foreign language in high schools

Technology has become an important tool for the sectors that use it. For thousands of years, technology has played a role in helping humans to solve various problems. In today's era, the use of technology is not only used in the engineering sector; but also in other sectors, including the education sector. With several available features, technology is widely used in schools and is believed to help improve the quality of education. In this study, the researcher used one of the technological media that will be provided to the students. With the use of quantitative methods, researchers can determine significant results regarding the impact of technology use in the learning process. Therefore, this thesis discusses the usefulness and impact of using digital media in schools. During the writing of this, the author was guided and accompanied by supervisors Ma’am Afida Safriani and Mr. Muhtarom to improve the quality of this writing.
