FUNGSIONALISASI BAHASA ARAB PROGRAM PENGEMBANGAN KOMPETENSI BERBAHASA ASING (P2KBA) DI IAIN SUNAN AMPEL

Courses Arabic Courses Competency Development For¬eign Language (P2KBA) conducted over 2 semesters of the first year. This course formerly known as the intensification of Arabic courses and has hosted more than 10 years. In the course of this course, has many achievements that have been achieved, in addition there is not. However, it is clear this course helped students to achieve competency or skill kebahasaaraban much needed especially as¬sociated with their respective scientific fields. This paper seeks to describe the function and importance of mastery of the Arabic language, viewed from a sociological and historical perspective. At the end of the paper the author gives advice that is expected to improve processes and strengthen pembelajaaran Ara¬bic P2KBA function as a program that became a leader in learning Arabic.
