Pengaruh sensation seeking dan self-efficacy terhadap risk-taking behavior pendaki gunung wanita

Female climbers often act negligently and carelessly when climbing, thereby endangering their personal safety. This shows that their risk-taking behavior is high. Risk-taking behavior is defined as competition between affection and cognition in carrying out risky behavior. This research aims to determine the influence of sensation seeking and self-efficacy on the risk-taking behavior of female climbers. The subjects in this research were 272 female climbers in East Java using an accidental sampling technique. This research method uses a quantitative correlational approach with multiple linear regression analysis. There are three instruments used, namely the Domain Specific Risk-Taking Scale, Sensation Seeking Scale-V, and General Self-Efficacy Scale. The research results show that sensation seeking and self-efficacy influence risk-taking behavior both partially and simultaneously. These two variables show a large contribution to the formation of risk-taking behavior of female climbers. However, there is a weakness in this research, namely that the sample obtained is small, so expansion is needed so that the data obtained is more representative.
