Abstract
This research seeks to describe the implementation of immigration policies carried out by the US under President Joe Biden at the US-Mexico border in 2021-2022 using the seven dimensions of policy implementation according to Bhuyan et al. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with secondary collection through documentation and uses Miles and Huberman analysis techniques. The researcher found that the implementation of the policy was in accordance with the seven dimensions of Bhuyan et al. such as canceling the construction of the Trump Wall, forming a task force, expanding MPP and Title 42 as immigration policy (content, formulation and dissemination), the policy was influenced by an increase in positive sentiment towards Biden and an increase in immigrants (socio-political and economic context), Biden as a leader with DHS in charge (leadership), helpful government and non-government institutions (stakeholder roles), careful planning before implementation (implementation planning and resource mobilization), policies that impact immigrants (operations and services) and DHS providing reports on implemented policies (feedback and results).
