Pengaruh Self-esteem dan Kecerdasan Emosi terhadap Perilaku Prososial Santri

This study aims to determine the effect of self-esteem and emotional intelligence on prosocial behavior in boarding school students. The research method used is quantitative correlation with data collection techniques using a Likert scale arranged based on aspects of prosocial behavior, self-esteem, and prosocial behavior. The subjects of this study amounted to 60 students of the Al-Jihad student boarding school in Surabaya. Hypothesis testing uses multiple linear regression analysis to determine the effect of variable x on variable y using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) application program. The results showed that self-esteem had a significant effect on prosocial behavior with a significance value of 0.037 <0.05, and emotional intelligence had a significant effect on prosocial behavior with a significance value of 0.001 <0.05. Obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 in the self-esteem and emotional intelligence test which means there is a significant influence. The results of this study indicate a significant influence with a positive relationship direction both partially and simultaneously on prosocial behavior.
