Abstract

This research aims to analyze the personality development experienced by Lira, the main character in the novel To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo. This research used the qualitative approach and descriptive, dramatic methods. The results shows that Lira experienced personality development from being initially bad-tempered, arrogant, and selfish to becoming a merciful and selfless figure until she finally became a noble queen for her kingdom. Factors that influence Lira's personality development are physical changes, changes in the environment, changes in significant people, changes in social pressure, changes in roles, and changes in self-concept.
