Abstract
This research aims to determine the relationship between the novel “The Yellow Wallpaper” and Gilman’s biography. The data source was from the story “The Yellow Wallpaper” by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. In collecting data, several references related to biographical criticism were used. Data were analyzed by reading the story, underlining the statements of “The Yellow Wallpaper” regarding Gilman’s biography, analyzing and describing the relationship between “The Yellow Wallpaper” and Gilman’s biography.
