Implementasi economic order quantity (EOQ) dalam optimalisasi persediaan pada ud anda toyoido untuk pengendalian bahan baku

This study aims to analyze raw material inventory control at UD Anda Toyoido, a confectionary industrial company. The purpose of inventory control in the framework of efficiency, using raw material control methods EOQ Working Capital Constraints and EOQ Backorder. This research uses a type of quantitative descriptive research by obtaining data through observation, interviews, and company documents. EOQ Analysis of Working Capital Constraints is used to determine the maximum quantity a company can purchase if aligned with its capital, while EOQ Backorder is used to determine the optimum inventory quantity that can be purchased from suppliers. Inventory control calculations are needed because raw material inventory control greatly influences the smooth production process, in the production process itself is influenced by the availability or absence of raw materials so that these raw materials can be processed in the production process. The results showed that the difference in the calculation model resulted in a difference in the maximum quantity that a company could buy. The calculation of raw material inventory between EOQ Backorder and EOQ Working Capital Constraints obtained the results of calculating the minimum total cost of raw materials using the EOQ Back Order method, with the total cost of inventory being IDR Rp. 777,069.00. Further research can use other calculation methods according to company conditions.
