Hubungan Empati dengan Perilaku Prososial

The aim of this research is to know about the correlation between emphaty and prosocial behavior. This research is a quantitative research and using data collection techniques such as scale of empathy and prosocial behavior scale. Subjects amount to 98 students from a total population of 490 students from Faculty of Psychology semesters 1 to 7, through simple random sampling technique.
The results of this research showed that there is a relationship between empathy and prosocial behavior were significantly, evidenced by Product Moment correlation coefficient of 0.584 with 0.000 significance. The tend of correlation coefficient is positive which shows the relationship between the two variables is unidirectional or proportional.
