Pengaruh self-esteem dan kesepian terhadap kecenderungan perilaku narsisme pada remaja awal pengguna media sosial tiktok

This study was to determine the effect of self-esteem and loneliness on the tendency of narcissistic behavior in early adolescents using the social media tiktok. Data collection used a self-esteem scale with Coopersmith's theory (1967), a loneliness scale with Weiss's theory (1973), and a narcissistic behavior scale using Raskin and Terry's theory (1988) on 213 early adolescent respondents, students of SMP Negeri 13 Surabaya. Data analysis used multiple linear regression and independent t test. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of self-esteem and loneliness on the tendency of narcissistic behavior (F = 10.382 ; p < 0.05 ; R2 = 0.90). The results of the data analysis show that there is an influence of self-esteem on the tendency of narcissistic behavior, there is an influence of loneliness on the tendency of narcissistic behavior, and there is an influence of self-esteem and loneliness on the tendency of narcissistic behavior in early adolescents using social media tiktok.
