Esensialitas Aksara Jawi dalam Naskah Hikayat Iblis dan Nabi: suntingan teks dan analisis isi

To finishing this study, author using a standard edition single manuscript method in editing texts and using culture method in content analyze. The approach used is an emic perspective cultural approach, because the culture is the result of the creation, character, and thoughts that developed and grew in the past. The theory who used is philology teory because of philology is science and tools used in reviewing manuscript or ancient text. The result from this research can be conclusion that: 1) Showing that manuscript of the Tale of the devil and the prophet is still in good phisycal condition, so reads clearly. 2) Produce text edits and translation, so can be read correctly and be more understanding the contents of the tale of the devil and the prophet. 3) Based of the content analyse of the tale of the devil and the prophet, the manuscript is in the form of prose which is there is dialogue between the devil and the prophet which discussess about enemy of the devil, friend of the devil, friends of the prophet whom devil didn’t dare to tease her and women who escaped from the devil temptation.
