Hubungan interaksi sosial dan sense of humor terhadap kebahagiaan lansia di Surabaya Barat

This study aims to determine the relationship between social interaction and sense of humor with happiness. Collecting data using adaptation research instruments with each having a reliability value, namely the social interaction scale of 0.959, the sense of humor scale of 0.954 and the happiness scale of 0.961 for 100 elderly in West Surabaya (n = 100). The results of this study show that there is a relationship between social interaction and sense of humor with happiness among the elderly in West Surabaya (F_Change= 0.000 < α = 0.05). The correlation coefficient is 0.532, which means that the relationship between the two independent variables with happiness is in the medium category. The level of social interaction, sense of humor, and happiness of the elderly are in the medium category with each social interaction percentage of 63%, sense of humor of 60%, and happiness of 63%.
