Integrasi bangsa dalam perspektif Islam: konsep integrasi dan kebangsaan dari Islam di Timur Tengah hingga Indonesia

This article deals with nationalism and integration of nation in Islamic perspective and its people. The result shows that the majority of Muslim scholars and Muslim mainstream agree that Islam does not regulate the form of the state, the system of the government and such. Instead, the concern of this religion is to anchor noble ethic moral values ain various aspect of human life, including in the political aspect. On this side, to achieve the ideal goal and develop civilization, the integration of the nation needs to be established in a country where Muslims live. Related to Indonesia, Pancasila as its state basis and the constitution of Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia reveals that this country is following Islamic values. Thus, all the elements of this nation, especially Indonesia Muslims, are obliged to defend the sovereignty of this the country, strengthen the integration and develop civilization being able to enlighten and prosper the Indonesian Muslim, the nation, and even all of the human being.
