Abstract
This thesis attempts to analyze Emily Bronte’s novel which concerns with psychological issue represents in Wuthering Heights. In order to take the point of this study, it focuses on the analysis of Heathcliff’s life as the main character in the novel as seen in his childhood and his maturity. Furthermore, this thesis also tries to analyze about how egoism forms Heathcliff’s personality. From the analysis this study find out that in Heathcliff’s life is full of rejection since in his childhood. He always received bad treatment from people around him who brought hatred toward him. It makes him suffer and feels hurt. Heathcliff never shows his broken heart to the other people, he choose to keep in his heart and think about how to overcome to take revenge toward people who has make his life broke.
