HUBUNGAN ANTARA MEKANISME KOPING INDIVIDU DAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI DENGAN KECEMASAN KOMUNIKASI PADA MAHASISWA PRODI-PRODI KEPENDIDIKAN FAKULTAS TARBIYAH DAN ILMU KEGURUAN UNIVERSITAS ISLAM NEGERI SUNAN AMPEL SURABAYA

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the individual coping mechanisms and self-confidence with communication anxiety on education's student at State Islamic University of Sunan Ampel Surabaya. This research is a correlation using data collection techniques such as communication anxiety scale, the scale of individual coping mechanisms, and the scale of trust. Subjects numbered 65 students from a total population of 260 students through sampling technique in this research is quota sampling technique. The method used in this research is quantitative method with type research of correlation (correlation). Data analysis techniques used in this research is the analysis of Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Test with SPSS version 16.0.
The results using statistical analysis Multiple Linear Regression Test there is a significant positive correlation with the regression value of 0, 000 < 0.05 thus the initial hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between coping mechanisms of individuals with communication anxiety. On the significance of the confidence variable of 0.05 ≥ 0.05, so the hypothesis is rejected, which means there is no relationship between the confidence with communication anxiety. Effective contribution contained in the variable individual coping mechanisms (X1) then match the total percentage of the effective contribution of 92.8% to the communication anxiety variable (Y)
