Web based room facility Reservation Application for Library

Library is important icon in life, especially matters related to education. The continued development of the times, mind set about libraries that contain only a book, a monotonous or just a place to read a book, is gradually lost already, the library is now vying continue to improve facilities for visitors. Various events are also often held by libraries. For example, library in university, most of them provide special rooms with specific facilities such as audio-visual room, digital collection and others. Reading room was also packed as good as possible that might like cafe. It makes the University library has many visitors, especially those who has digital collection for searching the final project, thesis, and other information that is not available in other place, even some universities that have large libraries that are used as reference material reference students from various universities in Indonesia. This research focus on developing Web-based applications for reserving place created with the purpose of the visitors can book a place in advance so that when a visitor to the library, visitors can get a need facility that fit the needs of visitors. This Information System is built with MySql database using PHP programming language. From the test held by the developer, this application can be used to manage facility reservation process in the library.
