Konstruksi pemberitaan kasus Ahok di media online tentang penistaan agama: Framing pemberitaan republika.co.id dan kompas.com periode 6-10 oktober 2016

The focus of the problem investigated in this thesis is how the construction of the case in the online media ahok ahok about religious defamation (framing republika.co.id news and kompas.com period 6-10 october 2016). In this research, using qualitative descriptive method. The goal is the researchers want to know the construction of online news about alleged abuse of religion by Ahok in online media Republika.co.id and Kompas.com within the limits of news research period 6-10 October 2016. In analyzing, this research uses framing approach model of Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicky. The construction will be lifted through 4 Framing structures, ie syntax, script, thematic and rhetorical. The results of this study that the two media are not preach objectively. Recommendations and suggestions to further researchers to be able to become a reference and able to develop this research. In addition, the development of text analysis theory can at least be used in the practice of assessing a higher quality news.
