Mas'ud Yunus, Known as scholar and politician, have an important role in society: First, in the field of relegion as religious leaders, educators, preachers, and leaders of relihious and civic organization, as well as an intellectual movement leaders; third. in the field of politics, as chairman of shura council of PKB, PPP and the deputy mayor of Mojokerto.
