Analisis kesesuaian ekowisata Mangrove dan anaisis SWOT sebagai strategi pengembangan ekowisata Mangrove di Kalimireng, Kabupaten Gresik

Kalimireng Mangrove Ecotourism is an area located in Manyar Sidomukti Village, Manyar District, Gresik Regency. Kalimireng Mangrove Ecotourism is one of the areas affected by industrial areas in Gresik Regency. From the results of field observations, Kalimireng Mangrove Ecotourism has facilities and infrastructure that have been damaged and abandoned, and there is still a lot of garbage scattered around. With these conditions, researchers tried to develop a mangrove ecotourism management strategy with IKW (Tourism Suitability Index) analysis and SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis in Manyar Sidomukti Village, Manyar District, Gresik Regency. This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the suitability of mangrove ecotourism and determining development strategies for Kalimireng Mangrove Ecotourism. The method used is quantitative method with IKW analysis tool and SWOT analysis. Data collection using field surveys and interviews using a list of questions (questionnaire). The results of the analysis of potential suitability show that the Kalimireng mangrove area is included in the category not suitable to be used as an ecotourism area with a value of 1.49. The results of the SWOT analysis show that the right strategy to use in Kalimireng Ecotourism is the WO (Weakness-Opportunities) strategy in quadrant III (-0.23; 0.31). The strategy for developing mangrove ecotourism in Kalimireng Ecotourism is: Planting mangroves at certain points to increase the value of IKW in Kalimireng Ecotourism; the need for allocation of funds for the improvement and addition of existing infrastructure facilities, as well as improving access to the Kalimireng Ecotourism location. In addition, the community and visitors are given insight into the importance of maintaining the mangrove ecosystem by not littering.
